These goggles are stylish and they fit great. I used them with a helmet (Giro) and they were still comfortable. One of the main issues I've had is that when wearing a helmet, some goggles are just too big - which causes the helmet to push down on the goggles creating pressure on the nose and subsequently making it difficult to breathe. The Smith I/O goggle is just about the perfect size for use with a helmet and they balanced perfectly on my nose.Aside from fit, the provided extra lens (black) was a lifesaver. The pictured 'amber' lens is great when there is cloud cover, but the black lens makes boarding in full sun much more enjoyable. Changing the lenses is simple enough once you follow the instructions. I tried to brute force it - don't. After reading the instructions - bend the frame as instructed and things will go much smoother. The biggest problem I had with the Smith I/O goggle is the amount of condensation/moisture that gathered inside. While I didn't experience any fogging, when the weather got really cold I found ice forming on the INSIDE of the goggle. This experience may not be indicative of a greater flaw in the goggle - as I've used them three trips up the mountain and only experienced the icing issue in extreme weather.Overall: Solid goggle, limited/no fogging, great extra lens, fits well with helmet, watch out for ice!I received an opened product that was sold as new, but didn't include any box. They were just packaged in a plastic bag and resealed. I can't tell if the goggles had been used for skiing, but they had been previously tried on and possibly returned. Someone's hair was stuck to the goggle foam, the spare storm lens was attached, the primary black lens was in the microfiber storage bag, the protective film from both lenses had been removed, and there were fingerprint smudges on both lenses. But in spite of this, the lenses appear to be unscratched and not damaged, and the price was 50% off SRP, so the purchase is still a good value compared to full price. I bought these as a replacement for my 4 year old Smith I/O goggles which have been great, but now have scratched lenses, and the cost for these new ones cost the same as just buying a single replacement lens.Bought these as a gift after buying a pair of Smith Turbo (built in fan) last ski season. they fit the average adult sized head. This pair fits a teen male, adult male and adult female. Love these googles with their excellent fit, full field of vision and dozens of interchangeable lenses (purchase separately). This pair came with the platinum lens, for all lighting conditions and the Red Sol for low light. The lens change out is the easiest I've ever seen and they are durable! To find the right lens for lighting check the Smith website for a complete list and their respective lighting conditions. These are full face and I can wear my glasses underneath. Good venting and the foam is airy so they don't get soggy against your face. If you sweat a lot or your glasses fog (like mine), I recommend the Smith Prophecy or Turbo goggles with built in fan to insure no fogging. Those goggles are incredible too & a favorite for my ski racing family. These also accept generic prescription inserts without needing the Smith adapter. We have used a variety of brands and sizes over the years but with the cost and ease of replacing lenses these will be the last goggles we own!love the quality of thegoggles very clear and sharp vison and easy tonswap lens designOrdered and received my I/O goggles earlier this week with the Green Sol-X and Red Sensor mirror lenses. I went night skiing, and swapping out the lenses was very easy. I used to have a standard pair of Smith Orange goggles, $40-50 range. The difference using the high contrast, high-vis Red Senor v. the darker Orange at night is incredible. Even in unlit areas of the trail, it is pretty easy to see where the snow has piled up, or where the snowboarders have taken their toll.It was in the single digits (0-5 deg F) and my eyes and face were well shielded from the cold. No issues with fogging at low temps. My friend had these goggles and they came highly recommended, and I must say I was not disappointed. They are well worth the extra few bucks compared to a baseline model. You will also not find any other company which includes a second lens on their higher performance models right off the bat. The I/O's are great!Probably the nicest pair I've owned, esp for clarity, comfort, customizing and lens size. My only problem is that the lens scratch SOOOOO easy. I wore them once, fell while riding a nollie with them off. Got some snow in them so took the cloth bag to wipe them and put them back on and they were scratched. Either from liberty s***ty ass snow, or from the cloth. Either way for 180$ I expected the lens to be more durable. The replacement lens are like 50$! Its not the end of the world but I did knock a star for that. Oh, and NO FOG!!! my glasses fog but not my goggles. I used some anti fog spray for my glasses each time I go out and boom, no fog at all which is huge for my big trips to Vermont! These goggles are of good quality and are not too big. They do not fog up, fit well over a helmet. They come with two lenses that are reasonably easy to switch. These are now my number one choice.Just bought a pair for my brother after having mine for just over two years now and they are the best goggles I've owned in over 20 years of skiing. ( I've tried, Bolle, Oakley, Smith, ROD, UVEX) Despite having skied through white outs, rain, hot days, on pieste and backcountry outing the goggles have failed to steam up on me once. The two lens your receive make them ideal for 90% of weather conditions that you will encounter and are interchangeable in about 2 minutes. The field of view from them is expansive and you hardly notice the frame, far bigger than the previous Oakley A frames that I had before. They also fit very well on my Giro helmet.A note though,t he description for the product is wrong, it mentions a fan. This was an old style of goggle that smith had and was more of a gimmick than anything. You don't need it with these. The picture is correct though as to what you get.I have problems boarding in flat light. I read a few reviews on these goggles and the ability to change the lenses seemed like a good idea. They were reportedly the best goggle for flat light.I changed the lens over a few times during my week and after the first couple of goes I could do the swap in a couple of minutes. In flat light the sensor mirror VLT lens was the best I have used. It's not a magic bullet, but I was able to see more of the profile of the snow than with any of my previous goggles (and I have tried lots!).These goggles fit perfectly with my Giro helmet without having any gaps or having to adjust either item to accomodate the other. The look of the goggles is also great.Just spent a week skiing with these and loved them. The red lenses were great but the 'clearer' lenses did fog up on the 1st day between the double lens which caused some frustration on the 1st run of the week, as I think there must be a break in the seal around the edges. However at the 1st hut changed to the mirrored lens and never looked back..... so to speak. They are a little bigger than some but that just means that you get areally good field of vision. 5/5 for the goggles with mirrored lens, 3/5 for 'clearer' lens. One week of skiing later, used both on very sunny and foggy days I'm very happy with them.Pros:Comfortable and good fitNo fogging upLook goodBoth lenses cover most scenariosEasy to take on and offCons:Price (is now cheaper than I paid, so much better value)Takes a bit of practice to change lensesThese are really, really good. Top quality piece of kit. Bought to go with my Smith helmet and they fit perfectlyPros:Never mist upFit really wellGreat visionEasy to change lenses overLook AWESOMEI didn't have any problems with scratchesCons:None yet discovered...(But seeing as they cost so much, I'd expect these to be bang on anyway)
